I've been in Lake in the Hills all morning.
I'm so bored!!!!!!!!!!!
Well for lunch today I did get to go eat at Red Robin, yummy burgers. I had a blackened bayou burger this time around, I hope my roommate doesn't steal my left overs again or else I will be very mad. After that, I've been stuck in the "housing HQ" up till now. I finished most of my math homework and did useless things, I want to secretly play Ragnarok so bad.

By the way, did I ever mention how I snuck out of school to go to Best Buy?
I guess not... I ditched two classes and took the bus to Best Buy, like last week. I was actually going there to buy the complete box set for the "Sands of Destruction" anime, which came out last month and is being sold at only a select few locations(only two stores in Chicago sell it). I recall the opening theme song for "Sands of Destruction" to be "ZERØ" by AAA. One of the stores that was listed with availability was the Best Buy in the "Harlem Irving Plaza" mall, which is 5 minutes by bus from my school. I took the bus and walked into the store, then I went down the anime aisle. I looked all over the alphabetized dvds and I couldn't find it. After my horrible failure in finding the dvd I wanted, I ran up to a guy who was in charge of the dvd section and asked for help. He did a quick look-up on the store database's catalog and it said that the store was definitely carrying "Sands of Destruction." I told him that I couldn't find it anywhere on the shelf, so we both walked back to the anime aisle and did another check. The guy seemed a little confused too, since the dvd was supposed to be on the shelf. He then looked around the table areas where they display the dvds that weren't on the shelves, which are limited in quantity. He then told me that the dvd was probably either misplaced or stolen, and he said sorry. I was a little mad that I wasted a bus fare in going to Best Buy and not being able to buy "Sands of Destruction." Instead of walking out empty handed, I bought the box set of "Samurai Champloo."

Oh.. the graphic goriness, the abusive language, the humor, the inaccurate depiction of Japanese history, and the violence, tales of hip-hop and samurais. I've only seen a few episodes on TV and I've been wanting to finish the series ever since. Hmm... the decap and blood make my roommate scream in fear, this will be useful when I don't want my roommate around...

I managed to pull off a "Samurai Champloo" marathon, the series was just as good as I remembered it. I actually finished watching it a few hours ago, it was so fun.

Today....uh...what did I do today?
Oh yeah, I made a new gif for my LJ, its Shuta hitting a baseball from the music video that was endorsed by the "Soft Bank Hawks." I think its cool, since I haven't made any gifs for a while. When I make gifs, I do it hard way, I make cell by cell animations from up to 48 screencaps. Like every other animator I go by the 24 cell standard.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO MAKE GIFS DIRECTLY FROM VIDEOS? BECAUSE I'VE BEEN MAKING GIFS THE OLD FASHIONED WAY, WHICH IS CELL BY CELL ANIMATION. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE!!!!!!!

I am dying of bordem in this house.
I need to play Ragnarok or something...
Let's see now.... my restaurant will be closed tomorrow because of the Superbowl, no ones gonna eat out anyways so might as well close up. I make most of the decisions for the restaurant and so far never an ill-made decision. Oh... I need to plan for my Japan trip, I need to also get a hold of Arata or else I will not have a place to stay.

Oh no, I need to do something productive before I leave this place and return to Chicago where hopefully I will get the chance to listen to my "Heart and Soul" cd I bought but never had the chance to open. I can watch the dvd on Miki's region-free dvd player and it will be added to my AAA collection, finally. Is it strange that I still leave the plastic wrap on my cds even after they've already been opened? I guess I do that for the fear of my prized cds/cases being damaged. My friends already know how much of a music freak I am, in others terms "music lover" can also be used. You can take all of my material possessions, but please just leave me my music devices and cds, I can survive on music alone, and that is how hardcore I am.

Enough of my nonsense.
Until next time, goodbye for now and hello to the future....
(oh the cheese!)
