Insomnia?

Feels like insomnia...wah~ahh~ahhhh...
Okay I'm sorry, no "Wheesung" songs.

But seriously, from midnight up until 7am today, I wasn't able to fall asleep. I was twisting and turning in bed for seven hours. This never happened before, so I have no idea what's going on. I think I was able to briefly fall asleep for half an hour. Other than that, sleep just seemed IMPOSSIBLE. Not to mention that I got up in the middle of the night and puked. Afterwards, when I tried to lay down, that didn't work either.

Every time I got back into bed, I had this horrible feeling at the back of my throat. So then, I was sitting upright for a good three hours. I tried gargling cold water and attempted to lay down again. Wow... I had one terrible night. When the sun rose, I was still laying on my back awake with a stitch doll on top of my face. When I got up, I felt as if I had no energy whatsoever (I'm usually energetic in the morning). I was walking around like a limp noodle and unable to walk in a straight line.

So is this what it feels like after insomnia???

No one informed me of even leaving the house in the morning...
I hadn't slept all night, I still feel a little tired though.
Yet, I'm still wide awake!
My mother interrupted my non-sleeping state this morning and after I told her what I went through last night, she suggested Mitsuwa or maybe not, since I was possibly getting sick.

I told her, "I don't care if I'm sick or not, nothing will stop me from going to Mitsuwa!" I was given an hour to get ready. I was getting ready, but I got distracted because I was reading an entertaining "food e-mail." As soon as my hour was up, I immediately ran towards the car and sat in the front seat. I sound like a little kid right now... nice.

When we arrived at Mitsuwa the first thing I saw was the freshly made mochi on display. Wow! The fresh homemade mochi was so pretty and colorful, it looked really yummy!

I bought a green tea mochi and it was very delicious.

Mitsuwa has a pretty big food court.
My mom really wanted "Yumcha." Mitsuwa has a "Jockey Express", a Chinese place. You know, I find it really awkward that we're doing Yumcha at a Japanese place... But that's my mom for ya.

My mom wanted me to eat some ramen or something because I seemed a little sick. As much as I like ramen, I was in the mood for some "tonkatsu." Instead of walking to the ramen place which had an extremely long line, I walked over to the place that specializes in katsu. I bought "Kurobuta Tonkatsu" for the first time.

It's made from black pig, it's supposed to be much tenderer than normal pig.
It was.... gekiuma...
words cannot begin to describe the flavors.

Wahahahaha...
My long awaited...
DUCK FEET!

You know who you are, here... I finally got to eat the duck feet you kept mentioning. I haven't gotten to eat duck feet in a very long time. I finally got to eat duck feet today. This makes me so happy!!! There was some shumai I ate with the duck feet too.

After eating, I headed to Mitsuwa's bookstore. The last time I was there, I depleted the bookstore of it's AAA cds, lol. But this time around, when they restocked the shelves with newer AAA cds, someone already beat me to it. I knew they restocked because there was one Heart and Soul cd on the shelf. Like I said, someone already beat me to the cds. Oh well, it'll die down soon, and there will be more cds.

I had so much fun and so much to eat at Mitsuwa today.
Until next time, bye again.
