Yay!!! I got a new pet!!!!
There's a story behind this....
I went to a "Bon-Odori" Japanese festival last summer. I played the gold fish scooping game and won myself three goldfish. I took the goldfish to the Lake in the Hills house and filtered some water in a bowl to put them in. I was taking care of them for two days with some goldfish food I just bought and they were fine. One day I had to temporarily return to Chicago to do something. The next day, I went back to Lake in the Hills and saw all three fish floating on the surface.

Aww... I miss Win now, he went back to Minnesota because his stupid roommates didn't renew the lease, so he had to go back and get a dorm or else he'd be homeless.
My "brother" Win(we aren't related but Asian custom forces me to call him brother) walks into the same room.
This is our conversation:
Me: Win, have you been taking care of my fish?
Win: Yeah, I fed them a little like you said.
Me: Well... they're kind of dead, care to explain?
Win: Uhh... go ask your aunt...
*Win runs off quickly*
Well... it turned out that my aunt over fed my fish to death. Win had no idea that our aunt had also been feeding the fish, so it wasn't Win's fault. But my aunt owes me a new fish.
So... due to that story, I now have a new fish.

The pride of my country, the Siamese Fighting Fish.
The tank came complete with food and a rock garden.
My fish is so pretty and lasts longer than a goldfish.
The last time I had a fish(excluding the bon-odori ones), it hated me. That fish was suicidal, it REFUSED TO EAT whatever food I gave it. It did not eat for two weeks and died a sad death.
I hope this fish doesn't hunger strike me like the previous fish did.
I'm happy that I have a new pet. It's been a fun filled week for me, hasn't it?
Until next time, bye again.
