Busy weekend.
Feb. 13th, 2010 11:55 pmI was still laying dead in the bed around 10am.
The others attempted to wake me up, then they gave me the option to leave for work later. I agreed to the new terms and continued sleeping in. I woke up around noon, which was the time I was supposed to arrive at work...
I got up and started playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii with Miki, we beat the game the night before, which is why I was too tired to get up this morning. We left off in the star world somewhere.
I did some internet shopping with Miki this morning too. My dream of owning a "Dollfie" has finally come true, I just ordered one today. Dollfies are what I believe to be Japanese dolls of 1/6 scale like a Barbie. Except Dollfies are completely customizable, you can change it's eyeballs, hair, head, eyelashes, outfits, and body. Being able to replace eyeballs sounds a little scary, but it's really cool. Unlike Dollfie's older cousin "Blythe"(another type of customizable doll by a different company) who has a drawstring to change it's eye direction and shut it's eyelids, Dollfie's eyes stay fixed, making it just as creepy. I bought it some "G-Dragon" style hair, my doll is going to (temporary) look like G-Dragon (at least until I buy it a nicer wig and some clothes... the doll is naked at the moment). I can't wait for my doll to come in the mail.
I arrived at work around 5:30pm. There were no customers, so I have no idea why the Head Chef kept yelling at me about being late. There were a lot of reservations for today. We were booked, the whole restaurant was filled up. We were running around like a bunch of crazy fools, because we were trying to keep up with the orders. Most of the customers today were our regulars. We almost broke records sales, but not quite there yet.

Oh yeah, for our Valentine's Day weekend special we were giving out gifts:
It's a hand carved elephant cell-phone strap.
The customer's loved it.
I had to deal with some deliveries today, it was awesome.
There was this one guy who gave me a $21 tip for a delivery.
I have a headache from multitasking through today's chaos, counting, totaling, mixing drinks, garnishing, cashier, phone.... So much to do.
I'm off to sleep now...ahh... my feet hurt.
